As for our philosophy at SoulDaisy, we love design. not just fashion design, but all forms of design. In fact, you will find that much of our inspiration comes from different design disciplines including graphic design, architecture, interior design, garden design, paper design, web design and so on. Currently, we design, manufacture and market a line of clothing twice a year for the Fall/Holiday and Spring/Summer seasons. Our future plans include exploring some of the other design fields. In fact, someday we'd love to design a line of paper products including stationary, journals, wrapping paper, greeting cards and more...

We were having a hard time thinking about what else to tell you about us. Then the other day, photographer Heather Raworth [Fall/Holiday 2000] came by the studio searching for a little dress to wear to La Bodega [fabulous tapas restaurant in Vancouver] for her birthday and we found the perfect way to describe what we're all about. Heather just got back from a year of travelling in South East Asia and was wearing a rectangular stone pendant around her neck. On it was something written in foreign characters. It said, "Forget not that the wind loves to play with your hair and the sand loves to feel your feet".

This completely sums up the souldaisy life and design philosophy: remember what's really important. Clothes, while we love them, are just clothes... so get dressed and get out in the world! Side note - Heather chose the Virgie dress!

Last but definitely not least, we hate that old expression, "should've, would've, could've" so we DO lots of cool stuff besides clothing design including: photostyling, event planning, fashion show production, marketing research and trend analysis / forecasting.
