Vancouver-based designer Shainin Hudda is proud to launch a limited edition collection of SAREES for the coming season.

The special collection is a very small, exclusive group of high end, embroidered sarees in pure silk inspired by Islamic geometric patterns and calligraphy...and the strength of Muslim women.

Mumtaz Mahal was a compassionate queen who looked over administration and to the needs of the women and the destitutes in her kingdom. She would even accompany her husband all across his dominion. In her memory, he built the magnificent Taj Mahal, whose grand splendor remains a memorable symbol of love and purity in the history of human civilization.

Highlights of this 100% silk saree include white beaded thread work charo with Islamic star motif and contrast white blouse.

Fatimah was the youngest daughter of the Prophet Muhammad and his first wife Khadija. She was Muhammad's favourite daughter and is regarded as an exemplar for women.

Highlights include rich green embrodiered and beaded edges with a Canadian maple leaf at the intersection of the two borders - signifying the meeting of the East with the West.
